Proposed Solution - The Only Place to Go is Up!

When faced with a major problem or obstacle throughout history, man has always had the curiosity and ingenuity to overcome and progress. It was inevitable that man would evolve to flight when attempting to get from point A to point B over great distances and it has been a dream of science fiction to one day see cars that could fly between short distances and make our daily lives more efficient. We live in an age of technology where anything is possible and it is understood that the best way to see the future is to build it! That is exactly what EvoLux is here to do.

EvoLux has made it its mission to develop quick, alternative modes of travel as a solution to South Florida's gridlock and over all troubled geographical landscape. The traffic congestion issues are felt all over, however, Florida is unique in that it can't build underground rail systems like in other metros all over the world to deal with public transportation. If you dig 3 feet, you're underwater, go to the west you're in the Everglades, east and you're in the ocean. With all of the aviation know how and existing landing facility infrastructure, we should be able to do something, right?!?

EvoLux Transportation has catalyzed a new research and development entity focused on advanced multi-modal aero-transportation infrastructure design and is investigating the continued development and implementation of rolling out an on-demand, short distance, high volume, "pay-per-seat" sky limo transportation system using vertical take off and landing (VTOL) aircraft within a 500 nautical mile operating space. Just imagine being able to fly privately from Boca Raton to South Beach in 15 minutes, Ft. Lauderdale to Naples in 20, or West Palm Beach to the Keys for under $350!

EvoLux's assembled engineering consortium (soon to be Center of Excellence) is evolving a proven legacy heliport operating system, originally developed by researchers at Georgia Tech Research Institute for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta for passenger and cargo transport, by picking up where they left off in 2001 and bringing the system up to speed with the latest local area global positioning satellite communication, surveillance broadcasting, synthetic highway in the sky 4D vision, and precision business-economic trip scheduling simulation analytic tool technologies. These "air-breaking" technologies will come together to significantly improve performance, quality, and affordability for civilian vertical lift operations and allow for more people to utilize VTOL aircraft when traveling within their region.

These advanced systems will minimize capital intensive, direct costs and optimize revenue management for the helicopter operators, as well as increase safety, and continuously optimize routing procedures allowing for an automated system that will handle ad-hoc demand of it's members. The vision is such that, in the not too distant future this service operation will, with economies of scale over time, increase in the number of VTOL aircraft in the fleet and be able to service our society just as one would call for a taxi. Imagine having the ability to, when getting in your car to head to a meeting, check your phone or the EvoLux website for available aircraft in your area and in real time be able to book a sky-limo seat to your destination. Alleviating stresses in your daily activities, being able to prepare for a meeting or relax in transit, and ensuring that you're never late due to highway traffic congestion again.

EvoLux’s sky-limo services will operate on a highly optimized, synthetic “highway-in-the-sky” logistics system and will land at strategically located “Vertiports” in business and leisure districts of interest. This operation will will feed hotels, cruise ship ports, tops of buildings, attractions, casinos, and airports with pre-screened passengers directly to their domestic or international flight. EvoLux will operate in under-utilized helicopter airspace, land with non-interfering approaches at vertiports and congested airports, and integrate with and operate underneath the fixed-wing Next Generation Air Transportation System (NGATS). NGATS is being phased-in by the Federal Government’s Joint Planning and Development Office (JPDO) to modernize the national airspace system, using digital technology to redefine every element of air transport, from communications and surveillance to navigation and air traffic management, in order to address the nation’s need for increased airspace capacity and efficiency. South Florida just happens to be the declared test-bed for NGATS with over 18,000 Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcasting (ADS-B) towers providing the backbone for our system. EvoLux is mearly increasing efficiencies and integrating the Vertical Take-off Operations into the NGATS system, so that VTOL aircraft can effectively complement and link to other modes of transportation.
